Beginners Class
We always start with a Beginners Class lasting a maximum of
45 minutes. There are 19 Beginners moves in total and each week
you will be taught four fun moves that are linked to form an
eye catching routine. Over a six week period, if you go to the
same class each week, you will have been taught all the beginners moves, in various routines.

First Freestyle
The end of the Beginners Class blends seamlessly into a 15 minute
freestyle session when the lights are dimmed and the DJ plays
continuous music. This is your chance to practice what you have
just learnt. Grab a Taxi Dancer if you need some help. Use this
time to practise the routine, relax, get a drink or make new
friends. This is not the end of the night for Beginners, see
beginners revision class, and remember the final Freestyle is
a time of practise too.

Intermediate Class
Immediately following the first Freestyle there is a 30 minute
Intermediate Class. This class is primarily aimed at those who
have done 6 or more Beginners classes, a basic knowledge of
the Beginners moves is required to carry out a lot of the Intermediate
moves.

Beginners Revision Class
During the Intermediate Class immediately following the first
Freestyle, a beginners revision class is held in which the Taxi
Dancers run through the Beginners routine, helping with individual
problems and consolidating the learning process.

Final Freestyle
As the Intermediate Class finishes, then the Freestyle section
of the evening kicks in. The lights start flashing and the DJ
starts his real work, this session is pure uninterrupted dance.
This is a great chance to try out your newly acquired skills
on the more experienced dancers. Why not ask the Demonstrator
or the Teacher to dance! It is perfectly acceptable for ladies
to ask men to dance so just go for it. The more you dance the
quicker you progress. Believe us - it's addictive!
